It was all about The King’s Speech last night at the BAFTA’s and it was Colin Firth’s night. Taking home the best actor BAFTA for the second year running! So pleased to see him getting award recognition now, he really does deserve it he is such a fantastic actor.
Darren Aronofsky picked up Natalie Portman’s best actress award for her performance in Black Swan. She is too pregnant to travel at the moment!
Helena Bonham Carter gave my favorite speech of the night, when she seemed to ramble on for ages without actually making any point about anything. I think she also forgot that she won for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth and not the Red Queen! LOL
Winner Colin Firth
Winner Helena Bonham Carter
